At 51 g, the ambidextrous XM2 8K weighs only marginally more than the OP1 8K, and comes with the same feature set: PixArt's PAW3395 sensor, 8000 Hz polling, pure PTFE feet, and Kailh GX main button switches, which allow for exceptionally low click latency.

"Ambidextrous" mice with only one pair of side-buttons is the equivalent to a LHD-car where-in the glovebox is unusable due to being taken up by the switchbox because the manufacturer couldn't be arsed to redo the wiring harness.

And a great plus, IMO, is the lightweight software. Many other manufacturers software, are getting increasingly bloated/heavy on system resources
