AVerMedia’s Versati Go USB microphone, priced at $70, is designed for mobile usage and ease of use. It offers good noise rejection and proves to be very practical in everyday use, but there are some limitations to consider as well.

@Inle I guess it doesn't come with some sort of pop filter? It sounds fine but obviously is picking up more pffs without some sort of foam or screen. The plosives are really noticeable in all test recordings.

No, no pop filter is supplied. The plosives stop being an issue as you move away from the capsule, but at the expense of sound quality. The Versati Go's capsule really doesn't like for the user to be closer than 10 centimeters (which is, in all fairness, what AVerMedia recommends as a minimum talking distance).

Sounds good. Anyways if needed one can always get some foamies and McGuyver it around the mic to make some sort of pop filter. :laugh:
