Even as AMD is giving final touches the 2nd generation Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor for gaming handhelds with a wacky 3+5 CPU core-configuration, some manufacturers like OneXPlayer couldn't wait, and went ahead to implement the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 mobile processor with a cTDP of 15 W. On the upside, the HX 370 is better kitted out than the Z2 Extreme, having all 12 cores enabled (4+8), but on the downside, it lacks much of the power optimization AMD put into the Ryzen Z2 Extreme. The OneXFly F1 Pro implements the Ryzen AI HX 370, and packs a 7-inch Full HD 144 Hz touchscreen. It was recently benchmarked by One-Netbook, where it yielded some surprising results, including a 58 FPS average frame-rate in "Black Myth Wukong" with low settings.

1080p and 65% scaling means game base resolution was 700p.

These handhelds are really tempting to run emulators(console and DOS) and to play old Windows AAA titles. I saw there even is 3D printed case(DIY project) for framework motherboards to use it as a handheld console.

How did you arrive at that conclusion and why does that matter? As long as it looks good, it shouldn't matter..
TPU bit did not mention other than low settings. Linked article said 1080p and 65% scaling. That is a quick calculation and ends up being 700p. Was curious and looked it up and thought I'd comment in case anyone else is curious.

Edit:
Not saying this is bad at all. Just the opposite, that sounds pretty good, especially with the power usage, upscaling methods these days and the size of that screen.

Ah, gotcha. Once again, a front page link not showing up here in the forums.

For these kinds of systems, I think I'd still default back to 720p due to screen size, which would give a performance boost.

From the screenshot I also gather that frame gen is on as well. That would be second option from the bottom on the right. SO not really true 60 fps either.

A year, maybe two years later we will read that some new game will run at 12 FPS.

The burning question is how much will it cost. As far as I have observed, laptops running the new Ryzen AI chips cost quite a lot more than the older Ryzen 7000/8000 chips.
