The WIZMAX CALUX is a premium low-profile mechanical keyboard that uses a fantastic industrial design, including a full-aluminium case and plate with a unique dotted texture. It uses low profile Cherry or Gateron Red switches with specific keycap sets, and aims to offer a no-compromise typing experience, albeit at a premium price.

In the meantime, the brand has opened a direct communication window to its overseas sales & marketing department via Mike Kim (mike@wizmaxglobal.com), in case anyone wishes to purchase it directly at a lower price than what the Korean store cost would convert to.

I get that Amazon isn't for everyone, but they couldn't partner up with an established online keyboard storefront to get their product out in North America?

It's not as easy to convince retailers to take on a new brand, at least based on the dozens of emails I get from random companies thinking TechPowerUp is a retailer and trying to get us to stock their products.

Backlight looks impressive, I hope in future one of these small keyboard maker adds Qi wireless charging pads(multiple so as that atleast one can be on top of charger and just have charge algorithm charge the board to max 80% when recieving power through wireless charger) for their wireless keyboard.

The WIZMAX CALUX is a full-size 100% keyboard, which is somehow getting rarer by the day when it comes to premium mechanical keyboards.

W.t.F.... I was beginning to think it was ILLEGAL for anyone to make a real, FULL SIZED keeb anymore, how dare they, hehehe :D

Looks very nice & well built, but dat price, not so much :(

Maybe if they get it on da Zon or Egg-chinz & start selling in big(ger) volumes, they can lower it some ?

Oh no, so much potential ruined by soldered switches.

Honestly, Cherry MX genuine switches will last a good few years, but at $285 that's simply not acceptable. I'm happy with soldered switches at the $100 mark because it's a perfectly-acceptable cost-saving measure. Any keyboard over $200 really needs to be a "forever" keyboard.

The keyboard looks very interesting, the design definitely appeals to me, and personally, I don't like full-size keyboards, especially with low-profile keycaps. However, the ABS keycaps and somewhat the lack of hot-swap for Cherry switches at this price is not OK
