Corsair today launched the LX-R RGB Series of reverse flow cooling fans, a complement to its high-performance LX RGB fans and acclaimed iCUE LINK ecosystem. Proving that amazing lighting and high-performance cooling don't have to be mutually exclusive, the LX RGB series has redefined user expectations for PC cooling fans. The LX-R series answers community demand for a reverse flow fan, ideal in situations such as case or radiator intakes where traditional fan hub and support arms would obstruct the fan lighting from being visible.
LX-R RGB fans are available in 120 mm and 140 mm sizes, in your choice of black or white to match the aesthetic of your build. Each LX-R RGB fan features 18 individually addressable RGB LEDs spread across an inner and outer light loop, creating spectacular, fully customizable lighting effects - including the iCUE LINK-exclusive Time Warp mode that creates mesmerizing optical illusions. All of this can be controlled from the Corsair iCUE software, making it easier than ever before to customize and switch between lighting effects or synchronizing them to your games.
Effective and Efficient Cooling
LX-R RGB fans combine striking looks backed up by rigorous engineering and meticulous testing to deliver powerful, efficient cooling. A combination of high airflow and high static pressure make LX-R RGB fans well suited for use as case fans or attached to radiators. LX-R fans also feature our magnetic dome bearing, which allows the fan to spin with minimal friction for reduced noise levels.
Technical Specifications
LX-R RGB 140 mm fans are PWM controlled with speeds up to 2,000 RPM and provide from up to 90.6 CFM of airflow and 4.1 mm H₂O of static pressure. LX-R RGB 120 mm fans are also PWM controlled with speeds up to 2,400 RPM and provide up to 66.7 CFM of airflow and 4.72 mm H2O of static pressure. Both sizes are 25 mm thick and come with our one-twist QuikTurn screws, making them incredibly easy to install.
Fewer Cables, More Functions
As part of the iCUE LINK ecosystem, the LX-R fans come in multi-pack starter kits with everything you need to get started. Including three LX-R 120 mm (or two 140 mm) fans, cables, and an iCUE LINK System Hub that can control a total of 24 iCUE LINK devices. Simply provide the system hub with power and connect it to an internal USB 2.0 motherboard header, and you can then connect fans, AIO CPU coolers, Hydro X pumps and cold plates, or any number of other iCUE LINK compatible devices to one another. Each fan connects to the next with the included iCUE LINK connectors, so you only have to run a single cable to the hub to every 12 devices.
Single fan expansion kits will also be available for users that want to fill out the rest of their case with more brilliant lighting and better cooling.
