Same panel will be used in MSI MAG 321UP, Gigabyte Aorus FO32U, and AOC AG326UD. HDMI 2.1 but DP 1.4. I love how they completely leave off DP spec of monitors unless it's the latest. Talking about future proofing with HDMI 2.1. What's to future proof? The monitor resolution is not going to increase with an update. Whatever the bandwidth you need now, that's the same bandwidth you'll need in the future. Good rule of thumb with marketing is that if it's not in bold, it doesn't have that feature you are looking for.

Anyway, max uncompressed HDMI 2.1 can get you 171 fps so you're good with 165hz screen.

It's the cheaper alternative to the 31.5” 4K 240Hz QD-OLED panels. These are all getting DP 2.1 update in 2025. I'm seeing some on sale for $1,100 so it's not that big of a price gap. Way more variety to chose from too.

I was going to say $500 :D

The risk/price ratio is just not there for me yet, I would like an OLED myself, so many times my finger hovered over the buy button, nope, not yet.

Risk factor as in, you fear burn-in damage? Modern OLEDs are alright, you don't need to worry about that. Just treat it like you'd treat a CRT screen, quick screensaver if you're afk and leave the mitigations like pixel shifting enabled, should be completely safe. My LG G3 is at 3856 hours as I write this post, there are absolutely zero signs of image retention on it thus far.

This 100%

I leave the inbuilt mitigation stuff on and only have a quick screen saver (I guess I'm used to using a screensaver since the CRT days, good times). No issues with any of my OLED monitors for years.

$800, "3 year OLED warranty" which I assume covers burn-in. Looks good.

Good, maybe add DP 2.1, 240hz and lower the price to like 500-600 and ill give you my hard earned money. If not, no OLED for me, no monez for yo.
Looking good tho, this kills any Asus monitor, they are like double priced here.
