Biostar has been doing incredibly well with their T-Series motherboards. The latest products use all the new Intel chipsets like X38 and G33. On the video cards side the V-Ranger voltage control features have been extended to the GeForce 8600 Series.

I like my board at work 965 chipset S series. I used Biostar in the late 90's and had good success, but was never impressed by the features. But my new board is awesome.

TX38D3-A7 Deluxe, That looks like it might be my next board. But WTF is the last PCI-e slot so close to the other one for? Crossfire plus a PCI-e RAID card or a third card for physics would make a dual slot cooler impossible. Or mebey one card and one for physics, then you could use a single slot cooler that is out of the way and a short RAID card.
