Intel's B860 chipset is here and offers Wi-Fi 7, CUDIMM memory support, PCIe Gen 5 and USB4, at lower pricing than Z890. But does this white motherboard have enough to tempt upgraders, especially considering Intel's Core Ultra processors' poor reception.

Great article,
My only criticism is 2.5Gbit NIC is a default feature at this point.
Would not remark here as a positive unless it has 5 or 10 Gbps network.

I'm curious why it took ASUS so long to use high resolution output. AMI Aptio V has supported high resolution output via DISPLAYID which will detect and use the native resolution of any given display. MSI and Gigabyte has supported it for years but MSI's custom theme and assets (AKA Click BIOS) often breaks the GUI ...

Are Intel still having issues with their 2.5Gb ethernet?
I'd avoid that too.
