AMD opting to go for performance comparison against 4 year old GPUs. Great! And to top it off majority of slides feature MBA designs that we were told were "only artist concept" which I strongly doubt.

That's unironically a progress. Earlier, when they released some RDNA3 GPU, don't remember which one, they claimed for it to beat RTX 2060, a 5+ y.o. mid-range SKU.

I'm interested how will it compare to the RTX 5000 series. BTW when do the reviews drop?

AMD snatches defeat from the jaws of victory again... $600/$550 are too expensive for these cards to be compelling.

Single digit market share incoming within two years. I hate this garbage GPU timeline we're on.

Compared to the 1000 USD it is fine even if I prefer lower prices.

Not that bad if the performance is like 4080 / 5070TI. Still 150$ less is nothing to sneeze at.

If $600 roughly 7900xtx performance with better RT won't satisfy customers, nothing will.

"it's fine" is exactly what these cards sound like... And AMD hasn't produced a GPU better than "it's fine" in a very long time

"it's fine" is not going to do anything to correct the path we are heading down, which is complete monopolistic domination by nvidia

If these start selling well, nvidia will just increase 5070 ti supply enough to sell around the $750 msrp. And I guarantee you the average customer will buy a $750 nvidia GPU over the knock off brand equivalent for $600.

Well you can choose to pay 1000+ USD or 700 USD, up to you to change the market. Of course all of them are way too expensive, but that happens with lack of competition and blind sided buyers.

I think they will gain market share if the can really deliver at this gap........especially when the 9060s are going to be finally a good entry gaming card again.

With this pricing all that AMD needs right now is being in stock and not being scalped. If they can manage that they should regain some market share from Nvidia.

All the market needs is a fine card that isn't ridiculously overpriced, at $700 for the XT, vs $1000+ for Nvidia. But when people still insist AMD is the "off brand" and keep on buying Nvidia anyway, the market won't improve. I'd like to see lower prices but thanks to nvidia having a near monopoly the GPU market is screwed up.

That's exactly it since the Nvidia 4060 & AMD 7600 was released they basically release cards that were supposed to be labelled 4050 & 7500 for double the price. They are both equally bad companies and people should have no loyalty to any business and should vote with their wallets.

$50 for 42% perf increase gen2gen. The last time Nvidia did that it came with $500 price creep.

I want to see reviews against the 5070Ti. They claim it's close enough to be compared while it's 150$ cheaper.

Anyway, 600$ for a mid-high end gpu in 2025 is a win already.

Ah, pricing in Europe, 636 EU for the non XT version and 696 EU for XT version. USD will be lower likely.

Not bad at all, one could say too good to be true. "I smell a rat" will the drivers suck?

EDIT: it was funny they played along the 5070Ti 750$ MSRP. So I guess the AIB will price that "special" 340W OC 9070XT versions at 750+, since actually the 5070Ti is going for 900+
