Not everyone can afford the latest and greatest heatsink on the market. Some users are stuck with the noisy stock coolers that are lacking in performance. What else can the user do? We take a look at a new entry level heatsink from Sunbeam called the Silent Whisper. At just $19.99, the budget-minded consumer might just have a reason to get rid of the stock heatsink.

Thanks:) I've been hoping someone would do a review of this product for awhile, not many sites do reviews of the lower end. It was well reviewed on newegg but I like to see the numbers laid out for me before I buy. A little lapping and this should be a good cheap heatsink to replace the zalman that just gave up the ghost in my HTPC.

Damn you Protius, you beat me to saying that!! <G>

It does look an awful lot like it. doesnt perform near as well and almost as silent as it. Nice looking heatsink and the value is really stupendous!
