Leadtek Research Inc., known globally for extreme visual graphics technology development, today takes pride in the launch of a brand new entry-level graphics card, WinFast PX8400 GS TDH Silent. This new card, with passive heatsink design and exclusive Dual-Link DVI-I output among GeForce 8400 GS series in the market, brings users a total value entertainment solution for vivid image quality with noise free in performance of home theater, supporting up to 2560x1600 resolutions at 32-bit. As such it could be called the "Airbus A380" in GeForce 8400 GS graphics cards without doubt.

Based on new 80nm technology and powered by NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS graphics processing units, the WinFast PX8400 GS TDH Silent comes with 256MB of video memory, DDR2 and a GPU/Shader clock with memory of 459/900 MHz. In terms of form factor, its low profile design allows setting up for a wide variety of low profile and any small scale entertainment devices. Besides, it provides Microsoft DirectX 10 with full Shader Model 4.0 support to deliver unparalleled levels of graphics realism and film-quality effects.

Considering the key features, the WinFast PX8400 GS TDH Silent with H.264 hardware acceleration decoding delivers complete high definition image quality on any display but with minimal CPU usage. More to the point, WinFast PX8400 GS TDH Silent takes NVIDIA PureVideo HD technology to unprecedented levels of picture clarity, smooth video, accurate color, and lifelike image scaling for movies and videos. It also enables playback of HD DVD, Blu-ray Disc and other protected content at full HD resolutions with integrated High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) support.

Even more surprising, the new card integrated HDTV encoder and Dual-Link DVI-I connectivity rounds off this impressive portfolio of features, WinFast PX8400 GS TDH Silent truly does provide world-class TV-out functionality up to 1080p resolution and supports a 30-inch LCD monitor at a mind bending 2560x1600 resolutions.

The new card also complies with the NVIDIA Lumenex Engine to offer stunning image quality and floating point accuracy at ultra-fast frame rates. When it comes to state-of-the-art high dynamic range (HDR) lighting, it enables complex effects for cinematic reality, bringing environments to life for a quite incredible and ultra-realistic experience.

With NVIDIA Quantum Effects technology, physics effects are taken to a new level of simulation and rendering on the GPU. The card's GigaThread technology massively supports thousands of independent, simultaneous threads, maximizing GPU utilization to provide extreme processing efficiency in advanced, next generation shader programs.

As a standard features nowadays, the WinFast PX8400 GS TDH Silent, built for "Windows Vista", guarantees 3D acceleration for the general graphical user interface with high-end results.

The brand-new WinFast PX8400 GS TDH Silent represents a new dimension in GeForce 8400 GS series, with a perfect combination of exclusive passive design and Dual-Link DVI-I supporting at low profile form factor. Now you've your opportunity to be the first to experience it.
