Wow! 1GB with a 8800GT....this would be an interesting comparison with the 1GB DDR4 variants of HD2900 cards. Cool n Quiet...NV style. One of the first non-reference designs with a 8800 GT. Finally NV reached the 1GB mark with its desktop DX 10 line.

It will be to expensive for me... but still, it is a VERY, VERY nice card!! Of course I would add a fan of some sort to blow air across the card.

yeah your case should have decent cooling with that card.. the 9xxxx series wont be out till end of 2008. The feb release date was never official, that was fudzillas news. Nv says end of 2008.

not a bad idea, especially if u have a fanless psu (antec hybrid), it would be really quiet.

the only downside i see about this, is if u had a card like this in a case that has very poor cooling its capacitors would get too hot and likely leak out causing lots of problems.
