27" is small?

I personally am not crazy about the silver case. I would rather it be black. But that's just me and means nothing in terms of image quality, or your preference.

Before buying from Amazon, verify what you are getting. I note the specs published on Amazon say "240 volts". They also say, "1 A batteries required"! ??? Assuming seems to be getting me into trouble more often these days, but I assume Amazon is wrong - again.

I see the
  • Sceptre U275W-UPT is 4K ($180 on Amazon)
  • KOORUI 4K/N07 is 4K ($161 after the Amazon coupon)
but I trust Dell more when it comes to monitors.

It's alright, just don't watch movies on it. But while on every count it's not great, it's still better than the cheap AOC 4K panel I also had in contrast and colors. Also there's a weird "temporary burn-in" effect: pictures that have been static on the screen for a while remain as slowly fading silhouettes for around 10-15 seconds, depending on the color and time they've been on screen. Response time is okay but it's still a cheap 60hz IPS.

Image retention is nothing new to all LCD panel types. Mild cases should always fix themselves in short order. Even if it's not OLED, it's not the greatest idea to leave static images up on a monitor with high brightness for long periods.

As long as you aren't a picky or serious gamer, it looks fine. I'm not sure who makes the panel, but it has decent contrast for IPS and a normal RGB subpixel layout, no problems there. Between the 2721QS and 2722QS, the uniformity looks generally okay too.
