Cellshock DDR3 1866 MHz CL8-8-8 2 GB Kit

Cellshock has begun offering their high-end DDR3 memory modules with blue heatspreaders. Their new 1866 MHz CL8 is a speed demon in disguise and has plenty of reserves, pushing our P35 board to the limit. It manages CL7 at the advertised rating and should also be able to break the 2 GHz barrier at CL8.

I gotta say for the price of DDR3 you're certainly getting ripped off I've had DDR2 get the same read and write speeds and it only costs $80.

They need to release some CL6 modules at that speed, that would increase performance 10 fold. Probably would require liquid cooling though.

The only benefit is a better ratio to FSB with newer processors and OCing. i.e. 1:1 with 1600MHz FSB or 1800MHz FSB.
