The Dominatrix is OCZ's newest dive into the gaming mice market. It offers features usually found on much more expensive mice at an entry level price point and comes in a stylish blue and black color. You can store your profiles in the mouse so they are available on any PC, even without the mouse software.

interesting, "The semi-transparent wheel, lights up in blue, green or blue as well" :p

Anyways, nice review, and it looks like a pretty decent mouse. Unfortunately, I've got small hands, and I don't think I'd want to be submissive towards any gaming peripheral. Seriously, I'm surprised it doesn't come with a latex suit and a whip.

Well, I have already reviewed Cyber Snipa Stinger Mouse:

as well as MSI GS-501:

and OCZ Dominatrix looks kinda familiar :D:D

Maybe TPU should release own gaming mouse. The concept is simple - choose a color that no one has used yet or one that has been used and proved to be good, choose a logo, order a thousand or more, send a press release and the Chinese guys will do everything else :D

You know, they really should have looked up the meaning of the name before they named it.

I can just see the meeting to decided the name now:

Bob the idiot Boss: So we need to think of a new name for our new gaming mouse.
Steve: How about something based on Dominate, because gamers love to think they dominate everyone else in games!
The Creepy Intern That Just Popped in to Drop Off the Coffee: How about Dominatrix!
Bob the idiot Boss: That great! Give that intern a promotion! Meeting over!
Sue the "innocent" one: But...sir...
Bob the idiot Boss: I said MEETING OVER!

You know, I was just actually looking at the pictures in the review, and this mouse just screems logitech, all the way down to the packaging.

Perhaps logitech makes these mice for OCZ?

nope if it was logitech ocz would sure make a hell of a deal out of that fact and also the price would be much higher.

The cover of the weight compartment looks like a smily face.

The missing "e" in smiley aside, I found this hilarious looking at the photo.

And would it be Dominatrixes? Dominatrixs? Dominatrices?

Smiley mouse.....

    Awesome one there Newtekie.

I like the mouse and the fact that is huge wont bother these huge hands. Its only 10 bucks more than the equalizer. So Ill need an MSI one, the Snipa one, this one, the NZXT one and thats it.

I'm just gonna stick with my generic Rosewill mouse that I got for $0.99 (and free shipping) from one of the egg's newsletters :p

Switches between 800 and 1600 dpi, and has 5 buttons (standard l+r and middle click, and two on the sides) + scroll-wheel. I didn't expect much out of it for being pretty much free (ordered it just cuz it was there ), but it's actually not bad.

So is the dpi mode button software based? Or is a preset already available on the mouse' mode button?.. I'd hate to install a bloated software running on my OS' background services..
