7900 XTX ASUS TUF 3x8 pin and 12vhpwr splitter

Hi

does anyone know if I can use the 12vhpwr splitter this my GPU and not burn it to the ground?
I think I’ve ready somewhere you can’t use PCIe 5.0 but this is a splitter in the pictures

someone please help

I've got a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 7900 XTX which has 3 x pin connectors running 3 cables to a Corsair Shift RM1200x PSU which also has a unused 12vhpwr connector on it.

I'm happy to stick to Sapphire\AMDs recommended installation instructions. I wouldn't personally try using the 12vhpwr connector on my system with my GPU.

Wasnt 12vhpwr known to being smoked by 4090s?
