Walton Chaintech, the critically acclaimed computer parts manufacturer, has announced the release of DDR2 SO-DIMM module. Under the APOGEE brand, this new DRAM module is specifically designed for the Netbook, featuring next-generation 65nm processing, FBGA packaging, operational effectiveness, and energy efficiency; all the while maintaining high performance levels. APOGEE's DDR2 SO-DIMM is especially tailored for the Netbook, promoting its "think-green" concepts through its design and functionality.

Operating with low power consumption, the DDR2 SO-DIMM is manufactured with selected, original factory components and JEDEC approved RAWCARD F PCB designs. Regardless if CPU speeds are at 667 or 800, the DRAM still provides outstanding performance with cycle times of 5-5-5-15. Available in 1GB or 2GB capacities, APOGEE provides the flexibility for any user.

APOGEE's DDR2 SO-DIMM is an excellent complement to the Netbook concept. With mobility, efficiency, and connectivity as the name of the game, the DDR2 SO-DIMM runs on standard 1.6v power and uses 12% less power than conventional DRAM modules. This means users can enjoy longer computing times without sacrificing performance.

Walton Chaintech backs its products completely, offering a lifetime warranty on their DDR2 SO-DIMM. Through research, cost-benefit analysis, and internal testing processes, Walton Chaintech is able to supply quality products at competitive prices.

If there are any questions, comments, or concerns in relation the DDR2 SO-DIMM or any of our various DRAM, flash memory, SSD, and VGA products, we invite you to either contact us directly or visit us during the 2009 Hong Kong Electronics Fair at the Hong Kong Convention Centre during April 13-16at Booth 5C16-18. We look forward to seeing you there.

Doesn't Swiftech also use the APOGEE brand for some of its products?... Isn't that trademark infringement?

And how much will these cost, if it's a decent price I MAY invest in some for my NC10 (10 hours battery life on a good day, this should bring it up to that as an average).

so how much does 1.6v help vs 1.8v? and would the performance difference be enough considering these are 667 rated CL5 vs something like the HyperX rated for 667 CL4 @1.8v

oh and those chips look oddly like nanya garbage
