So I have an odd issue.

My laptop background keeps going weird, I have no idea why, I'll attach pictures, what's going on here, I am not changing it, it sort of corrupts to the orange one directly merges from space to orange skin, I have only seen it happen once. It's like the orange of the original pic expands to fill out the background when it happens.

Odd discription hopefully the pictures help.

what happens if you change the image ?, some astro pics can cause bleed in some screens because of the amount of data there in not the size.

Weird, I didn't think to try another since I have used this a while, too long, I'll give something standard a try for a bit and see what happens.
It doesn't affect anything greatly just weird.

ive had simler with 10gb of staxed frames and not balanced out the colour good enough, even with high refresh monitors too but mainly laptops.

Seemed to be ok until I loaded up the CPU before, but it's holding steady at the moment.

if it is that image that doing it you could put in photoshop or alike and reduce the staturation a wee bit.

what is the format of your wallpaper? png?

Are you F@H on that?

No , I would for compos but not long term.
Same with crunching.

It's the temperatures they're mental to see.
It is running the covid compo ATM 60%.

The image change has resolved this issue, just for closure.

nice one mate, sometimes it can be the sillyest of things

you might what to check this out
its on a phone but the same princeables apply how colour can do strange shit :)

A lot of phones have OLED displays where different content can screw them up with burn-in due to high luminance. I think there is only one OLED laptop on the market right now and I doubt he's using it.

Nah no oled here.

It's fixed ISH but a pertinent point is that unloaded it was fine and didn't mess up the background image ever.

Only with the CPU not GPU loaded did it mess up, it had never happened until I used the laptop for crunching, as soon as it heated up the background messed up.
With a win10 stock background, no issues, odd.
