One of the world's leading gaming monitor and IT accessories brands - AGON by AOC - introduces the AOC GAMING Q27G2S/EU, a brilliant gaming monitor fit for today's adventurers on the gaming scene. The 68.6 cm (27") Q27G2S/EU boasts a 10-bit IPS panel for a wide colour gamut coverage, QHD resolution for sharp details and a 165 Hz refresh rate for a fast-paced, competitive gaming experience.
AGON by AOC greets the adventurers out there with a very attractive composition: a gaming monitor that harmonises beautifully with the hardware specs of a modern gaming PC. The QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) is currently the sweet-spot for gamers who want to step-up from Full HD but also want to achieve high framerates with their GPUs. A 27" display size is the perfect match for this resolution, resulting in crisp, sharp visuals and a very convenient pixel density of 109 ppi, requiring no scaling.
Armed for any upcoming battle
AOC GAMING's Q27G2S/EU comes with an IPS panel that offers comfortably wide viewing angles. With its 10-bit colour depth, the panel can produce 1.07 billion colours and shows precise colour transitions without colour banding (depending on the visual content and compression applied). Its IPS panel also ensures a high colour gamut coverage and exceptional colour accuracy: great features for aspiring YouTubers or live streamers who want to edit their footage and share it with their communities, or for those who simply want to enjoy content - be it a game or a movie - just the way it was intended by the video editor.
A great match for a current gaming PC, the QHD resolution of the Q27G2S/EU offers increased sharpness compared to Full HD monitors, enabling gamers to see crisper details, such as an opponent in the distance, much easier. The 165 Hz refresh rate (using DisplayPort input) of the Q27G2S/EU makes fast-paced, competitive gaming a breeze, and with the MBR (Motion Blur Reduction) function, the monitor achieves 1 ms MPRT, practically removing all ghosting artefacts.
The Q27G2S/EU supports Adaptive-Sync and is NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, so the GPU's framerate can be matched with the monitor's refresh rate, eliminating tearing and stuttering due to frame mismatch. The low input lag of the monitor makes the visual feedback to gamers' inputs almost instant, mirroring their fast, twitchy reflexes.
The Q27G2S/EU comes with an ergonomic stand offering height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustments so each user can adjust it for a healthy posture. With its 3-side frameless design, the Q27G2S/EU is a great monitor for multi-monitor setups, too, further enhanced by its VESA mount option. 2x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort inputs allow connecting multiple sources to the monitor, such as a PC, a second PC or laptop, a console etc., increasing flexibility in day-to-day tasks.
The OSD menu can be accessed via the tactile buttons underneath the panel, or by using the G-Menu software. The Q27G2S/EU's gaming features include the Dial Point (crosshair overlay), AOC Game Colour (to increase/decrease saturation), and a framerate counter. On top, Flicker-free technology, which uses DC instead of PWM to adjust brightness, as well as a dedicated Low Blue mode make late-night gaming sessions easy on the eyes.
The AOC GAMING Q27G2S/EU will be available from November 2021 at the RRP of £279.99.
