Hi everyone, I hope you're all well.
I recently bought a memory upgrade for my computer from an eBay seller, and it would appear that at least one of the modules is causing issues. Based on my diagnostics so far, I've narrowed down the problematic module, but I'm getting mixed results, depending on which slot I use, and I'm trying to understand whether the board is the issue or not.
The listing stated that the memory was in perfect working order, and based on his past feedback and our interactions, he seems genuine enough. He has accepted my return request, but I'd like to get to the bottom of this before I send them back.
I've had the machine since August 2020 with the original configuration listed (also in my specs), including the Corsair memory set at XMP settings with no problems like this before.
Here's what's happening:
* ASUS recommends using slots A2 and B2 when only installing two modules.
I'm using a mixture of Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool and memtest to check for memory errors. For simplicity of understanding, I've found that both identify errors for the same configurations listed above.
The board is still within warranty as ASUS gives 3 years, but I don't think the board is the issue here, despite the mixed results. I don't have another DDR4 board to test with.
What do you guys think?
Thank you!

Edit: here are some photos/screenshots. I've also linked each of the memory kits to their respective Thaiphoon screenshots.
