Which of these drivers should actually be installed? Am I missing out by NOT having some of them installed?
I have a 7600X.
I do NOT have installed:
GPIO driver (for promontory(fuk that even means?))
PSP
PPM provisioning driver

The rest I have the latest versions of:
I2C
GPIO
SMBus

My CPU performance in benchmarks is as good or better than in most results I've seen online so far.

Questions:
1. Should I install any of the drivers I do not have installed?
2. Should I uninstall any of the drivers I have installed?

Can't find much explanations online.

There's no customizations needed......just install the chipset drivers. If you take stuff out, you may start seeing missing yellow devices in Device Manager. I suspect Windows Update already fetches some of the basic functionality by default, but it's common to boot up a new install to find missing devices in Windows, even though core functionality is present.

On a couple of occasions I have seen people have sporadic USB issues with either CPU or PCH ports not recognizing devices, almost always fixed by installing up to date chipset drivers and not trying to second guess the installer.

From what I can tell the installer is smart enough to install what is relevant for you, or at least to not install anything that will negatively impact performance. If you are moving from 7800X3D to 7900X3D/7950X3D, it's good to uninstall and reinstall as the installer will add the Vcache driver for the latter when it detects those CPUs.

PSP is the security processor. Promontory is just the broader ASMedia product line of PCH that constitutes X470/B450/B550/X670[E]/B650[E].

if its not on a fresh install of win, i prefer to go offline, uninstall chipset and gpu driver, use DDU in safe mode (or clean twice, with reboot in between),
then install latest chipset, reboot, install gpu driver, reboot, and run Dx (web) installer...
