AMD E9260 MXM TYPEA - Trying to flash / confirm original GPU

Hey all, this is an odd one, and unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with GPU flashing in general.

A customer has handed me a E9260 MXM 4GB GPU, and they say it's been flashed with a custom GPU Rom. They have asked me if it is possible to flash it to the original, E9260 ROM. The customer does not have a backup of the original ROM. It's exactly this card based on the photos and labeling in the pic on this site:

The card is functional, and I can boot into Windows with it.

Using AMDVBFLASH v 3.15 I am able to see that it's:

• dID : 67E8
• asic says Polaris 11 (but GPU-Z shows Baffin)
• bios p/n: 113-D1170201-100

I am able to backup the ROM that's on it successfully, and I can also restore this same backup using AMDVBFLASH.exe v 3.15.

I can't find an official ROM for the E9260 in the official TechPowerUp BiOS search tool. However when I Google AMD E9260, I find this page on TechPowerUp which has an "unverified" Bios for the E9260 (263831.rom):

When I try to flash this rom (263831.rom) to the GPU, I get the following info / Error:

Old SSID: 0B1E
New SSID: 0B0D
SSID mismatched
ERROR: 0FL01

If I understand correctly, it's expected that there would be a mismatch, since the version on the card might be different than the factory ROM I'm trying to restore?

What I've Tried:

I've tried using the -fp and -fa switches in attempt to ignore the SSID mismatch, but I still get the same error.

Multiple versions of AMDVBflash:
I first started with the latest available version (5.0.567) of AMDVBflash, but it fails when I try to verify the ROM, says the card doesn't support VBIOS operations.
I'm now using version 3.15, and the verification passes, and as I noted, I am able to successfully backup and restore the backup using version 3.15, so this *seems* like a good version to use
I also tried version 2.77, (ATIFLASH) but that fails on most commands.

Does anyone know if this "unverified rom" is actually the correct factory ROM for the E9260?

Any advice to confirming and getting the proper factory ROM back on this device would be greatly appreciated! Let me know if I can provide more details to assist.

Did you try v2.93? This version and older versions use a slightly different syntax.
