AMD GTX550Ti 4GB Graphics Card

I just received this the other day and have been unable to get it up and running. I ordered it for my Dell Otiplex 7020 tower(1000 Watt power supply) but it refuses to boot. I tried it in my Asus Prime Z790 and I got a boot error. Any chance I could get some help?

GOP problem maybe? its a pretty old card. Try CSM (legacy mode not uefi) and see if you get the same result.

There is nothing right about this card.

AMD didnt make the 550ti and even if you simply misspoke the 550ti is so old it released before 4gb of vram was a thing.

if you just got it and it doesn’t work in 2 PCs return it

best bet is to return yeah that still doesn’t even make sense. 4gb and gddr5 didn’t exist yet.

As for software I would start with the minimum system requirements and work up

I know things like 3ds can be picky.

Why even bother with such an old card if you have z790? Get a card from a legit source for your use case.
