I just started playing this game on a friends Steam account. I like the idea of naval battles and designing your own ships. But the overall game still feels like a Beta release. The loading time beyond starting battles is long, I thought Starfield has loading issues, this game is 100x worse. It really kills it for me, and its running on a Gen 4 SSD on laptop.

At least the game makers are updating the game very often.

Never had to load longer than like a minute. Even on a HDD

I have the game, I've played it a bit, mostly running the dreadnought improvement project mod, rather than vanilla to deal with some of the stupid stuff the devs have done. I agree that the loading times are bad, mostly when starting a new campaign or when going between turns. I have mostly given up on the game because they cannot seem to make a game that runs well.
