Is this VA panel anything to recommend for 240-260$. It seems to miss Picture in picture. Are other screens in the same size and price any better? I liked the design. It also seems to miss HDR support but the screen has 3 HDR modes according to some sites.

No HDR. It’s an 8-bit panel anyway. The motion performance is okay-ish, but it’s no Samsung SVA as far as clarity goes. It will ghost. And highest overdrive level is unusable in practice, as is usually the case. Initial out of the box picture is meh, but can be calibrated to be reasonably accurate. Overall, for 250-ish bucks it’s not a terrible option if you want specifically a 32-inch QHD screen. Which is, unfortunately, a segment that’s rife with compromise since most QHD efforts from manufacturers are in the 27-inch form factor, so yeah.
