Don't waste your time. I bought one of these last year in November. I have downloaded every update. I have ran every test. Results? No ray tracing, at all. Never got it to work. Played on a few online hunting games, retail wow, diablo 3, and 4. This thing never got over 38 fps. I just made an account to let you guys know. I just switched back to my old rx580. I bought the Arc770 from Newegg band new. Done with intel.

Ok Karen, did you enable ReBar?

i actually agree with you. even the b580 is a dumpsterfire.

OK buddy.

I own A770 and it is actually superior in RT performance to Ampere. However, it is in a lower tier of GPUs where raytracing doesn't matter that much. ARC A770 Limited Edition actually has superior packaging and manufacturing quality. However, it runs bit hot, is more sensitive to temperatures. Also, performance is all over the place. In newest games sometimes it can deliver like no other GPU. Other times, performance is just disappointing. It also have bugs which weren't solved and their software experience was buggy. However, it is slowly getting better. I predict that this hardware optimization on Battlemage is the key difference why I had such inconsistent performance on Arc.

Who is a buying a entry tier card for RT? It would be a slide-slow even on low settings.

Well, I did not tell anyone I was changing back to the rx580. After I did, my wife, and 3 kids came in the game room, and I was playing Diablo. Every one of them ask me if I finally got the card to work. Cause my graphics looked a lot better. So other than a blind study, and the fact that I bench tested the 2 cards. You are all absolutely correct. Thank you for your opinions.

A770 is very good at raytracing at that class. Cyberpunk runs well on that card! RT ultra but not PT (it was on my old pc)
With mods.

The card needs REBAR support and a good CPU to run well.

I own an A750 and A770, and I am pleasantly surprised with how well they perform respectively (now that most of those horrid driver issues are gone). Now why you would buy this for RT I have no idea unless you want to just meet that annoying "MUST SUPPORT RAYTRACING" some games are having these days, I guess.
The real issue is where's the VR support? I don't need it but I'm tired of telling my coworkers that no, it doesn't support VR (officially) yet, stop asking me every few weeks.

38fps sounds like you have vsync on bucko lol

I had an A770 and A380 at launch for testing purposes and ran the A770 16gb LE for about a year and saw pretty good improvements over time. My issues with the card were mostly related to the inadequate cooler paired with high power draw in an ITX case. It otherwise worked fine but I was underclocking it to keep it at sub 90c. Thats not entirely the fault of the card, but this was in a define 7 nano so i expected a bit more out of a case with a ducted 280mm intake in terms of the gpu's ability to handle its own cooling...
Besides the point.
You were running into some other kind of issue, because I was pulling like 160fps+ in halo 2 anniversary in 4k after a driver update, the card punches well above its weight but its too situational. I cant see retail wow or diablo performing that poorly without something else going on.
