Are you certain that's a solid-state drive? It doesnt look like one in the assd description. Do you happen to have a Seagate drive as well installed on your computer.

Never mind I was assuming you were testing a solid-state drive because you're using a solid-state drive application. i dont know what those scores mean, but i wouldnt worry about what the windows user index rates anything. just trnasfer some files from & to your drive in question, and judge by that. AHCI would be better than SCSI btw.

Dear lord that is awful speed. You sure it is a SSD and not a custom SSD (by buying a pci-e adapter and a msata card) that's just a non brand one. Out of all I've bought I've never seen that.

This is embarrassing. I thought I replaced HDD with SSD a while ago. And all along the information showing an HDD was right there in front of me and I did not see it. If it were a snake, I would be writing you a dead man today. Somehow, it got marked as done and it did not occur to me that I still had an HDD so, I was looking at everything else. I need to put this on my task list and replace it soon. That in itself will really help performance and I will run the test again.

Thank you all for your reply.
