Considering that CPUs like the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D are turning heads everywhere for their unstoppable gaming prowess, you might be thinking about building a new PC in 2025. You'll need a potent graphics card to power your gaming ambitions. Today, you have more options on that front than ever. We're expanding our portfolio of AMD-powered graphics cards with Radeon RX 9070 XT and Radeon RX 9070 models from TUF Gaming and Prime.

Next-gen feature set
Armed with the latest RDNA 4 architecture and a supersized 16 GB serving of VRAM, these graphics cards stand poised to give you premium gaming experiences for years to come. Next-gen HYPR-RX tech delivers ultra-fast gaming, and you'll enjoy next-level immersion with the latest AI-powered features from AMD, including an improved experience with ray tracing. New for this generation is a machine-learning based super resolution mode compatible with select FSR 3.1 games that gives you an incredible balance of detailed images and fluid frame rates. DisplayPort 2.1 outputs give you incredible bandwidth for going big on resolution while supporting high-end refresh rates.

TUF Gaming leads the charge
We have proven experience taming the temperatures of GPUs while keeping noise levels low, and we've brought that full expertise to bear on the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT OC Edition and TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 OC Edition.

It starts with a trio of eleven-blade Axial-tech fans that maintain a steady, high-pressure stream of cooling air through a massive airflow-optimized fin array. 0dB technology allows these fans to completely stop for silent operation during light workloads. Wide vents on the aluminium backplate give heat an easy pathway to exhaust into the main airflow channel of your chassis. Some gamers prefer to tune their graphics cards for all-out performance, while others insist on quiet operation. A physical Dual BIOS switch lets you choose between performance and quiet modes without installing additional software. For more performance-tuning options, easy monitoring of your hardware, and granular control of fan behavior, download our free GPU Tweak III software.

New for this generation, we're swapping out the thermal paste traditionally used to transfer heat from the GPU to the cooling solution. Instead, the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 feature a phase-change GPU thermal pad. The electrically non-conductive pad is a solid at room temperature but liquifies as it heats up. As it melts, it fills the microscopic gaps between the GPU and thermal module, providing superior thermal conductivity and enhanced heat dissipation, ensuring optimal performance, even for sustained, heavy GPU workloads.

Additionally, the phase-change thermal pads offer exceptional longevity. They outlast traditional pastes by a significant margin, even for graphics cards that see heavy workloads on a regular basis. We can't say that you'll never want to repaste one of these graphics cards, but we are confident that it'll be a long time before you even consider it.

The phase-change thermal pad is just one of the many elements of the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 designed to give you reliable performance over the long term. We armor these cards in a metal exoskeleton for structural rigidity—give them a little extra support with a GPU holder, and you'll all but banish the specter of GPU sag. Dual-ball fan bearings keep the fans spinning up to twice as long as conventional designs. We select military-grade components for rock-solid power delivery and a long lifespan, and we apply a PCB coating to protect against short circuits caused by moisture, dust, or debris. In addition, our Auto-Extreme manufacturing process offers robust longevity that lives up to the TUF name, so you can be confident your card will power through games for years to come.

Many PC builders love that TUF Gaming graphics cards arrive with an unassuming style that fits in easily with just about any components on the market. For the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070, we're retaining the classic ruggedized aesthetic of the series. An illuminated TUF Gaming logo on the corner of the card provides a touch of personalization, and it supports Aura Sync so that you can coordinate its lighting with the rest of your compatible gear.

Prime graphics keep their cool in a compact profile
For anyone looking for rock-solid PC performance that doesn't break the bank, ASUS Prime components are a standout option—and that's as true of Prime graphics cards as it is for Prime motherboards, PC cases, power supplies, and AIO coolers.

The Prime Radeon RX 9070 XT OC Edition and Prime Radeon RX 9070 OC Edition pack a triple-fan cooling solution into a compact 2.5-slot design. If you need outsized gaming performance in a chassis that doesn't provide a lot of space, these cards might be the solution you're looking for. To make sure that these cards offer excellent cooling performance in their trimmed-down profile, we tweaked the Axial-tech fans with a smaller fan hub that allows for longer fan blades, and we surround them in a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure.

The Prime variants of these cards share a lot in common with the TUF models. They feature phase-change GPU thermal pads for optimal heat transfer and long-term reliability. Dual-ball fan bearings keep the air flowing for longer than conventional designs, while our Auto-Extreme manufacturing process offers proven precision and consistency. And you'll still enjoy 0dB technology, a dual BIOS switch, and the structural strength of an aluminium protective backplate.

Give your new graphics card the reliable power it needs
Partnering a new graphics card with a power supply that's on the fritz is a recipe for failure. If your PSU has passed its sell-by date, you can buy yourself some peace of mind with a next-gen upgrade.

To make sure that you can pick up a power supply with the features, wattage, and style that you need, we offer a wide range of options across our ROG, TUF Gaming, and Prime product families. Click here to learn more about how to compare different power supplies and find the right model for your setup, but here's a couple quick recommendations for the new Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070. TUF Gaming Gold series PSUs give you efficient operation and high-end durability for a great price, and they're available in wattages ranging from 750 W to 1200 W. Affordable ASUS Prime Gold PSUs offer a versatile aesthetic that perfectly matches the Prime GPUs, and they bear an 80 PLUS Gold certification that attests to their efficient everyday operation.

All Prime models were at MSRP prices where I live. Of course, they were gone very fast.
I got Prime 5080 OC and it really looks great. It feel like very good quality fabrication. Since I am not fan of RGB lights, this is great for me.

What I learnt after the purchase of a Prime X670 Mainboard.

The board hardly gets an uefi updates. Only ~60% of available updates and quite often delayed updates after more than two weeks.

-- graphic cards with 3 fans are not quieter and better. Very quiet 3 fan graphic card are very rare, good example powercolor 7800xt hellhound over several review sites.

-- asus consider certain tag names - low value. In my point of view it's tuf and prime series.
-- proart and some others are high end.

as a proart owner and prime owner, I would not buy a prime asus product again. A proart asus product I would buy again. a asus tablet i would not buy again.

Note: there are google spreadsheets online for uefi mainboard updates. find it yourself please and check which asus boards got updates and when. Clear language - just numbers and dates and board modells. I dislike paying high prices and had a mainbaord wiht a security hole for over 5 weeks for any running operating system.
