just wondering whats the difference in performance (fps) beside the higher clock speed @1080p @1440p @2160p (probably not much?)

vs
dual-rtx4070-12g 1920 MHz 2475 MHz 1313 MHz

compared too the 3 listed below>

vs MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Gaming X Trio 1920 MHz 2610 MHz 1313 MHz

1-2% at stock likely zero after you tweak both.... Also the way silicon lottery works the non oc model could be better or vice versa.

Noise and thermals between models are the only reason to get a more premium card and if you are comparing two dual that would be zero

The Gaming X trio and Tuf are the best you have listed thermally they also have the most robust pcb.

"OC" editions of the same card are basically always a scam, unless they are at an identical price (or very, very close) to the non-OC model. These days the rated "stock" and "boost" clocks have nothing to do with the actual effective clock the card will settle at in games (ie. higher than both). OCing is pretty much dead, 40 series is all about the undervolting.

For the 4070, it's such a low power card that anything should work fine (200W stock up to maximum of 220W, 240W for very few cards). The Dual cooler is a new design, and it's pretty solid. I wouldn't place too much emphasis on a triple fan 4070 unless it's on sale for cheap - it's like buying a beefy 2060 Super or 3060 Ti to "overclock", they really don't have the headroom to go anywhere. Dual is already whisper quiet.

Even though the price of the 4070 even at MSRP is laughable I think I would still go with the Gaming X trio it's about 8% more expensive than the base models and I think I like it at least 10% better lol.

At the same time the Tuf being 13% more expensive is a no go for sure vs the base MSRP cards.
