Please add SLIC 2.5 from Dell or Fujitsu.
One question: is this possible for an option to switch between 2 sata port and M.2 PCIe x4 that connected to cpu?
thanks.

Wow, I literally just randomly stumbled upon this when looking for something completely different. What are the odds of that, just happening to run into a modded bios for your specific motherboard! I didn't even know modded BIOS was a thing for this motherboard.

Anyway, this looks really cool. Thanks!

That, or I get to brick this motherboard and have an excuse to buy something with decent VRMs instead. (Hmm, maybe I should wait for B550 motherboards to be purchasable before taking that plunge.)

I'm going to be putting a 3800X into this motherboard in a few days, having control over FCLK, VDDG voltages, and being able to enable PBO looks really cool.

Just a couple of questions:

What about BankGroupSwitch though? I think this is also not available in the stock BIOS.
"Enabled CPU PCIe Lanes Unlocked" What is this? Is this so you can try running PCIe Gen4 on this board, or is this something else?

Also, I think you have the wrong sharing settings on your Google Drive links, it asks me to "get permission" from you to download. Downloading from ASUS WebStorage worked fine though.

Is there an option to switch between m.2 and 2 sata port from cpu?
In asus documents it says m.2 share bandwidth with sata 5,6 but when i insert nvme ssd on m.2 port the hdd or ssd connected to port 5,6 disappeared .
I think a bios option must be exist for this.
thanks.

- Actually picked up an ASUS B550-F now that you mention it, good so far.
- I *think* BGS is referring to you having either single rank or dual rank dimms, with SR dimms it won't make much difference... and also why you may not see it at all.
- "Enabled CPU PCIe Lanes Unlocked" may be referring to pcie4 though I honestly never got a chance to test it specifically since the ''support'' for it was removed in a previous rev.

- To my knowlege, sharing bandwidth to that extent is controlled by the chipset directly, as in you can't rewire the lanes via software.
- As far as adding SLIC to the BIOS, I'd need extra hardware now, as I moved to B550 yesterday. I can't make myself take apart my build now... so RGB

Corrected the sharing perms for the GDrive link as well.

Hi jSON,

I hear people saying how B350 and B450 boards are the same except chipset etc.

My question is have you ever tried installing B450M-A BIOS into B350M-A?

Thanks

Would like to think the different tags here prevent it from ever being possible, though you can force it to take whatever rom you throw at it if you wanted. I just wouldn't :p

Hi,

Is there an option for choosing between x2 and x4 lanes for M.2 port?
