Hi there!
Last week I have been playing around with my video card on the overclocking topic using MSI Afterburner. I have reached a (seemingly) stable state, that also involved voltage change. Haven't used it for a couple of days, then when I turned it on, it started to lose it - the image started blinking, blacking in and out, then after a few reboots stopped working.
After spending 6-7 hours browsing forums for solutions, I've tried to unbrick it with the following methods:
- placing it in another PCI-E slot;
- trying it out on another mobo;
- flashing it using nvflash in DOS mode - got a "No adapters found" error message and two beeps;
- 1-8 pin method, which I don't know if I did it on the correct chip - got the same message.
Unfortunately neither of these worked out. My only hope is in the 1-8 method, and that I've tried it on a chip, that has nothing to do with the BIOS (I've also read about the oven method, but since I don't have a spare oven, won't try it out). Demounted the cooler and the backplate, could't find a chip that has 8 pins and could have anything to do with my case.
Can anyone guide me towards the right direction/tell me if it's a lost case or not?
