I am in the process of securing what I think is a steal of a deal on the marketplace. I found a asus z9pe-d8 ws with two unknown xeon CPUs in an old cooler master case with a 1000w cooler master silent pro gold PSU. The price is, about 60 euros, 70 dollars maybe. The thing is, is there a resell value for this stuff? The motherboard starts up, but the guy seems to have just found it somewhere, as it's stripped of it's ram and storage. Thus, I don't know if it really posts or not. Or the types of processors they are having. The mother board showed in a video call the code b0 or 60, which I think is a missing ram code. Anyway, hope someone could help me with some tips about this stuff.

Best regards,
Artur.

It's like gambling but fun if you like hardware. I'd spend $60 on it for sure, but I think that kind of thing is pretty fun. If the idea is guaranteed money you should probably pass on it.

Hold up... does it come with the Cosmos case? If it does... it's worth the 60 bucks already. That 1000W power supply is also pretty good. Chances are at least some of the parts on this build do work.

Yes, but the case is a little damaged in the front. But it could be a nice case for a test bench, with all that space inside.

If you give that case some love, by repainting it, repairing the scuffs... it's still as much of a dream as it ever was. It's a project, alright, but the Cosmos is one of the most sought after PC cases of all time.

Yeah, me too. Not really in for just the selling of the stuff. But it's a part of it. The thing is, I cannot pinpoint the value of this motherboard. There aren't many listings of it and I found one that was 200 euros and one that was 500 on ebay usa.

I didn't know that. I would take that into consideration. Thanks
