Battlefield 2: Armored Fury Screenshots

Electronic Arts sends along several more screenshots from Armored Fury, the second booster pack for Battlefield 2. Armored Fury will include three new maps and six new vehicles. It's due out some time this spring.

AF will fail...servers are dropping like flies because of the crashes and disconnects caused by patch 1.3 released a few days ago. AF won't even frighten anyone because as soon as you play it some will lose connection. Man it bad, APCs, tanks, helos left behind for no apparent reason. Then their is the server crashes where you just hang, then you disconnect then go back to that server and it reads "need 8 more players to start" something like that.

I haven't bought BF2 expansion since special OPS, BF2 is a great game, but I dislike a game that has 3 expansions and basically all they add are vehicles and maps. This kind of stuff in my opinion should come with game updates.

In the 1.3 patch wherent commanders supposed to drop vehicles to location from air? ive played multiple server and havent seen this, and also joining a squad while dead u have to spawn once and Then be able to join the squad... WTF r they thinking there starting to be almost as retarded as valve and steam, but i like steam also for reasons too.

I've seen plenty of vehicles dropped, but you can only do it with the smaller vehicles like the buggys, not the tanks and not boats. I'll give EA/ Dice one thing: it is very fun to drop a buggy on the US Aircraft carrier on the Wake Island map and go joy riding on that!

I've had that happen while I was swimming in the sea... it just fell on me out of nowhere and I was dead !

Well BF2142 comes out at the end of the year so i won't buy this anyway, most people still use the good of BF2 without add-ons so I'm happy to keep it as it is.

No i wont touch this crap. Only BF2 vanilla is still somewhat good game. Of course Dice Canada has ruined the gameplay with worthless beta quality patches, but its still playable. But no more expansion packs, SF and EF sucked. Only one map was good in EF, and that was the Great Wall map is great. But thats not worth 20bucks (200kr), as someone said, this is what we gamers use to get free in patches. We are starting to let the DEVELOPERS´s get away with too much crap these days. If Dice&EA would have released these as patches instead of costly expansions i promise many more people would have bought their new 2142 game. But i know many people who wont touch anything made by Dice/EA ever again because of the poor quality support they have reseaved for BF2.... Its Dice/EA loss, they got greedy, but they will loose more money this way... too bad, coz BF2 was one of my fav games...

I bought it in hope of the great support they gave BF1942 in the form of patches, new game modes, maps, and features across the board. Seems like all we get are more broken things in BF2. Now I need to get back to reinstalling BF2 because of the recalled 1.3 patch... :shadedshu

The patch hasn't been recalled for players yet has it? I thought it was only the servers that were needing to be fixed. That said, it's probably worth it to uninstall just to get rid of the bugs with the server browser and some of the crashes...

Would you still get vehicle drops if you rolled back to 1.22?

No thats 1.3 only...

How do you roll back a patch? From what I have seen it takes a complete reinstall.

Sprry, that was badly worded, I don't think you can roll back a patch unless EA were to release some sort of 1.3 remover.

You're lucky then... the server browser has crashed at least once for me since its release, crazy ping times are given to some servers, none of the server info appears while the game is loading and I've experienced some random crashes when in the manuals as well as servers failing. :shadedshu
