Be Quiet unveiled its Straight Power 10 (E10-CM) line of mid-range, semi-modular PSUs. We went hands-on with its 500W variant, the E10-CM-500. The idea behind the series is to offer 80 Plus Gold efficiency, and semi-modular cabling at category-first, sub-$100 price-points, combined of course, with Be Quiet's reputation for making stuff that's, well, quiet. This particular model features enough cabling to power a gaming PC with a single high-end graphics card, or two performance-segment ones, provided you balance them out with energy-efficient CPUs. It features a single +12V rail design. It offers a 24-pin ATX, 8-pin EPS, four 8-pin PCIe power connectors, and a number of SATA, Molex, and Berg connectors.
