Best Video Card Under 100USD?

ok guys/gals looking to upgrade moms computer but we have very tight budget so im using old parts from my pc...what i need to know is what is the best video card to get for 95USD shipped? oh and it has to be able to play tiger woods 07

Well, hunt around for a few cards in the segment then use Tomshardware's vga charts, or you can cheat and use their monthly article. The February edition recommends a x1650pro or 7600gs in the 100$ segment

I would say go with the 7600GT def. the best bang for the buck right now under $100.
Dish out the extra dough and wait for the rebate to come in.

A 7600GT would blow a 7600GS away and is def. worth the extra $20.

If you don't want to spend over $100, or can't and want something that'll handle that game just fine, I suggest something like the Open Box: BIOSTAR V7602GS21 GeForce 7600GS 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Video Card - OEM @ $85.63 Shipped! or for a bit higher quality Open Box: MSI NX7600GS-T2D256E GeForce 7600GS 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Video Card - OEM @ $95.63 Shipped.

Your best bet and overall money saver would be for a Sapphire X1300XT for $79 shipped when newegg has them in stock. It's equal to a 7600GS and is less expensive. Oh and mine overclocks (500Mhz Stock Core / 630Mhz OC and 400Mhz Memory / 475Mhz OC) like a beast and thats on stock everything and air cooled!

I remember when the 7800 series came out two years ago, (was it really that long ago?) ATI had NOTHING to face that thing right. And then the X1k series started rolling out of the factories. And then we got the 7900's...and then the X1900's...and then the G80...lol.

AthlonX2, just wait next month....mid-range dx10 cards will be in that price range.

7900GT for $189. Overclocks pretty well and gives the x1950Pro a decent run for it's money.
