BIOS Flash Question

Hey guys, i'm having issues with my current r9 290 that if i leave it on stock volts i would get a black screen when playing videos(in general) so i contacted the manufacturer in my case Club3d and they sent me a bios file, now my question as you can see in the image attached below they're the same "version" but "different size"?

Will i see a bios version change after flashing or what? because if not i already have that version :"D.

Edit: Uploaded the bios files if someone can check for the changes made to the bios file. Bios files are meant for a Club3d R9 290 RoyalAce.

well they properly change some voltage regulations to make the card more stabile in general, it's not the first time i hear about Club-3D cards being a little buggy and not stabile but it's long ago.

Hmm yeah i guess your right but just wanted to make completely sure before i flash it thou ;P, will try it on saturday and see how it fares and ty for the quick response hehe...

well, could be that and some more, just backup before flashing so u have the original bios if smth goes wrong.

He may request you upload a copy of both bios so he can examine both

, still have not flashed it, i am a tad bit scared but i kinda want to fix that problem :|

Same file, at the end there is some zero padding, which just makes the file longer without any functional differences.

What exact model is your card?
