I need help with a bios update on my GTX 1650 ventus
Device ID 10DE 1F82 - 1462 8D92

I can't find a vertified bios on the techpowerup forums and want to know if there is any bios that can be verified as my screen is currently artifacting and I have to believe that is a problem with the bios

Flashing a bios is not a solution without understanding the cause of the problem. Unverified bios means it is not validated and there could be a small chance that someone modified the bios before uploading.

Questions:

1. Did the card work normal before?
2. Did you or someone else flash a different bios earlier on the card?

If the first question is yes and the second question is no, then a bios flash with the orginal bios will not solve the problem.

The answer to the first question is no (to my knowledge the card hasn't been working properly since I bought it second hand)
And the answer to the second question is yes I flashed multiple bios to it trying to solve the problem


I can't be sure if the bios is the problem with artifacting, however the way it is artifacting changes based on the different bios I use

Your card is faulty.

BIOSes affect core and VRAM speeds and voltages.

Chances are good your GPU has marginal core stability and/or failing GDDR5 module(s). Different BIOSes are providing different clocks and voltages which is why you're seeing different artifacting, but you're likely wasting your time as the card needs to be physically repaired, reflowed, or have faulty GDDR5 module(s) replaced.

Given how much effort and labour cost that involves, I can say for sure that it's not economically-viable on a 1650 which has a total value of maybe $75 if it was in perfect condition. Cut your losses, sell your broken GPU on ebay as "faulty - for spares/repairs", and pick up another graphics card. You might get $25 for it, which you can put towards something else, maybe a $50 RX 570 if you're on a very tight budget and still need something capable of 3D.

GTX 1650 Ventus is a MSI card. MSI bioses are bound to serial number.

To get the original bios you need to contact MSI or search on their forums where someone has a similar serial number (Examples: 602-V809-2063SD****** or 602-V809-1784SD****** etc) and is requesting a bios.

Most likely the memory controller or memory on that card is bad, replace it with a Brand new in box rx6600 at that point.
