Boot Android into Safe Mode on an Elovo X6-13V21 netbook?

I seem to be caught in a weird loop where Android loads up, works for about three seconds, and then all shell elements and cursor disappear for a few seconds, random pieces of the "Jelly Bean" intro appear on the screen, and then it tries to load again, over and over.

I've been told that this situation is called a boot loop, and that booting Android into safe mode or doing some kind of factory reset can help. The problem is that all the directions I can find online regarding how to enter safe mode or do a reset are designed for tablets and phones. There's little to no information on my Android netbook. I've tried holding down the power button to bring up a menu, and that doesn't seem to do anything.

Holding down various function keys while turning on the power doesn't seem to help either. Alt-Ctrl-Delete does reboot the device, but that doesn't solve the problem.

The only thing I know about this device that might help is that it's based on a WM8880 chipset, and images of it can be found here: https://elovo.en.alibaba.com/produc...h_dual_core_Android4_2_one_year_warranty.html

I hope this link doesn't run afoul of any rules about advertising a product, because I'm definitely NOT recommending it by any means. I'm kicking myself for not getting the more expensive Android netbook with a Tegra chipset from a more reputable manufacturer right now, even though it was more than double the price.
