Something similar to transistor is broken off will it work fine ?

Thats back side of motherboard.

What these things do for cpu ?

Well, you could fry your CPU as some pins will now get the wrong Voltage.
That's most likely a capacitor, not a transistor.

That's ceramic capacitor, used to smooth out power delivery to the CPU. Your CPU might work fine without that, but I won't count it being stable under load.

Should not fry your CPU, but I'm not taking any bet here...

I have no instruments for that i'm hoping it will work as it is.

Maybe someone has similar experience with testing one broken ceramic capacitor ? :)

It's just a power filter cap, it'll probably work fine without it since they're usually wired up in parallel with others. If not then just have it soldered back on.

Personally I wouldn't power it up, I would solder it back first.
Ask a friend or neighbor if they have soldering equipment.

That’s a ceramic capacitors
It will be fine without it , it can cause instability at higher clocks if you oc your cpu but that’s about it .

if you plan on using that board , either take it out , or repair it , don’t leave there like that , it can fall and short other components, my advice is get some flux and a soldering iron , unless you have very unstable and shaky hands it’s not a big deal , you have enough clearance so it won’t be complicated.

please don’t use glue , and don’t twist the components, twisting can rip off a track and that will be a bigger problem

You have a choice either completely remove it or solder it back. You have to remember the other end is also very weak.
Personally I would remove it completely as you need a meter to check if capacitor is still ok after being stressed.

Yep, as someone else stated, it's just a ceramic cap. It will probably work fine without it but someone with moderate soldering skills could fix that easily. Just a dab of flux an a small amount of solder on the tip of the iron and would probably take 10 seconds to fix. Looks like you got lucky and didn't rip the pad. You can PM me if you want it fixed for free. I'm in the states and have a microscope and good soldering equipment.
