Buying a new monitor - wiil I be able to drive 240 Hz@1440p ultrawide?

Hey guys!

As the title suggests I'm in the process of getting myself a new monitor. I've been looking at them for some time and I just got an insane deal on an LG OLED(800 €).

I can't find any additional information on the requirements on the monitor specs page, my 6800XT does have DP 1.4a and HDMI 2.1.

Will I be able to drive the full resolution and refresh rate?

I'm not talking about games, but in general. If my 6800XT can even display the full resolution and refresh rate.

Yeah you can, desktop will fly at 1440p240 no problem. As for actual gaming... some games will require you to shrink settings to the bare minimum in order to reach that. That is if your CPU is up to the task. But once again, 1440p240 is supported by your GPU.

You'll need a FRL5 or FRL6 HDMI cable for this matter.

Yeah, not planing on playing anything at 240 Hz except CS2 and my GPU can hangle that no problem (over 400 fps at 2560x1080).
Single player games are fine at 80-ish FPS with not all sliders to the right, I don't mind.

It's not regular 1440p, its 1440pUW, so basically it 3440x1440 at 240 Hz, are you sure?

I ran my ultrawide (3440 x 1440, @144Hz) on a 5700XT for years, no issues. It was also flanked by a pair of 24" 1920x1200 IPS screens @60Hz, one in Landscape, one in Portrait.

If that can do 3 screens I think you're save with just one on a 6800XT.

I play at 2160p for a while already. And my 6900xt is capped at 2300MHz. Games that don't hover above 100FPS are not worth it for me most of the time anyway, and I don't play garbage UE5 games obviously. Games that I do play are all maxed out, sometimes I drop shadows and such one notch below max and call it a day. You'll be fine.

I only have 1 HDMI port, and my TV is plugged into that so:
1. I'm going to use an HDMI to DP adapter for the TV. It's 4k60Hz so i think THIS ONE should be fine
2. The monitor will be connected to the HDMI 2.1 port with THIS CABLE
Should be good to go, right?
