Can this Happen with Latest SSD/M2 Drive Standards?

Hi Guys,

I have been very curious to know about these latest SSD types and M2 performace

1.Can a one person connect 2 TB Samsung 850 PRO to say, i3 equipped PC and run 20 VMS on single I3 machine with 16GB RAM?

2.Can a one person connect 2 TB Samsung 850 PRO to say, i7 equipped PC and run 20 VMS on single i7 with 32GB RAM machine by just assigning 1GB to each virtual machine having known that each vm resides on fasted SSD till date?

3. Can one setup VIrtual machine LAB with around 15 VMs on portable Samsung 2TB SSD and carry with them any connect to any machine with USB 3.0 port and access the LAB more smoothly?

4.What will happen if we connect fastest Samsung 960 PRO M2 drive to celeron NUC/PC, will it match the performance of i7 PC with mechanical Hard Drives?

5. Who will perform better in terms of accessing the VM fasts.. A entry level Intel Xeon processor with 32 GB of RAM and mechanical hard drives or a i7 PC with 32 GB of RAM with 2TB 850PRD SSD or with 2TB 960 PRO M2 drive?

(as we all know that Read and Write speed of 960 PRO M2 drives goes in thousand numbers.)

I am very curious to know these answers from you all techies...

960 Pro 2TB. If you want performance for serious work, you won't be saving money. Second option would be 850 Pro. With so many VM's, you'll simply need a capable SSD either way. Forget about mechanical drives. Entirely.
