Hi,

Please don't flame me for this one. I'm probably just getting really old.

I have the Gigabyte Aorus Master Rev 1.0 mobo

The old mobo's used to show a detailed POST screen similar to this one:

Now, please don't look at the age of the image or the info on it. I'm simply referring to the software screen shown above that used to show on POST.

I know that on most mobo's, when disabling the OnScreen Logo during POST, it would then show the above screen but for the life of me I can't seem to get my detailed POST screen to show even though I have disabled my OnScreen Logo in the BIOS.

Can someone shed some light on this please?

Thanks
Wolvy

Try to press "pause/break" button on keyboard whilst booting.
Wouldn't that just PAUSE the POSTING sequence? The POST screen doesn't even flash past with any info. I will see if I can create a short video and show you.

Here you go....This is what I'm talking about.

Try to look for a quick boot option in the bios and disable it...

On newer machines it's simply too fast to display, before UEFI initializes.
Sometimes this stuff even interferes with boot menu popup (had this issue on MSI B150i and Aorus B450M, but not on my X470 Ultra).
Try the following:
1) Disable fastboot
2) Disable boot logo/image
3) Look for something like "boot delay" or "POST delay" option, and set it to 3-5s [if there is one].

THIS:
"2) Disable boot logo/image "
AND ADD boot delay TIME if pressing DEL like a monkey doesn't take you into the bios :)

If you can't enter, go to Advanced Restart options in Windows

This is the normal (not fast boot and disabled logo) sequence of the latest AMD system...
Thats it... no more details... World is in progress and we ARE getting old...
During this time all POST occure and the detection starts before Am.Megatrends logo appear
If you ebable fast boot it will skip some detection of ram and componends. Not recommended, it can cause issues.

I also wondered if it was just the new way of doing it because I DID disable the logo and disabled FAST boot and still nothing. I also don't see a POST timer delay in the BIOS so yes, we are getting OOOLLDD! :D

Welp I was gonna suggest the POST timer but... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i think if you press the TAB button and remove the logo showing up, you will see the POST screen as you wish.

LOL at the image of the K8 from the early 2000s...!!!

VGA bios message before booting on a top tier card - thats a new one....

some time ago I had a dualboot system and a Windows utility to reboot into the other OS. It also had an option to reboot into BIOS. I forgot it's name and do not have it anymore...

New times are here, dont expect so much information nowadays...
My B450 Aourus M has 3 row, 1 for amd and 2 for some basic stuff, like bios version and date and thats it, no cpu type/model, clocks, ram, neither storage info.

I think on intel side there is a little bit more, but far more less than your pic.
