My 2060 IO shield is rusting, can’t find a replacement on ebay/ali. Now, it’s the EVGA KO so it takes 1x Displayport (with a screw of Phillips #00 above (don’t ask me the length i dont have calipers)), 1x HDMI, 1x DVI
i don’t actually care about much else beyond that the IO plate matches the port order. It’s dual slot. And I need to replace a lot of screws.
looking at picture of EVGA 1660 i see the same display outputs, the IO shield has the same cutout pattern, the backplate looks similar too with one screw in the corner and one screw in the other corner (if slightly to the left), so I think it’s the same IO shield - well, technically the 1660 version has 4 extra screws, so it could be totally different, it’d suck if it was actually like 1-3cm short
anyway i suspect the IO shield is going to be the same for a lot of models but haven’t looked into it, would make sense as a cost cutting measure though. If I can replace this for like.. $10 or less, I’ll probably bite. For $20, at that point maybe I just live without an IO shield (or with the rusty io until it dies)
it shouldn’t have reached this point but I never deepcleaned it and the air is salty so its pretty much my fault
