CHIEFTEC, a world-wide renowned brand for reliable PC chassis and power supplies, today announced the launch of three new accessories products: One M.2 NVMe External SSD Enclosure and two USB-C Docking Stations. Firstly, the CEB-M2C joins the external enclosure product category, supporting the installation of M.2 SSD's with NVMe interface and connecting to the host device via USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C connector, enabling up to 10 Gbit/s transfer speeds.

Additionally, Chieftec is expanding the product range by introducing two USB-C Docking stations to provide Notebook-PC users additional functionality and flexibility. Both docking stations come with Power Delivery 3.0 transferring up to 60 W and a host connection via USB-C 3.1 Gen1. We would highly appreciate if you would be happy to share this news with your readers and viewers. The press kit includes datasheets, images and press release announcement for you to download.

They did not, perhaps from enthusiast consumer space - Yes. But for OEMs they make a metric tonne of stuff. Mainly cases and related accessories.

As for dock, who thought that USB 10Gb/s is good thing for NVMe? Unless you just really want to have any kind of access this will choke any NVMe to death. Even old intel750 will be working at ~40% (overhead and USB limitations).
