Club3D today introduced the CAC-1093, a DisplayPort 2.1 DP54 VESA-certified cable. The cable can handle DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR13.5, and the ability to handle bandwidth of 54 Gbps, over a cable length of 3 m (9.84 feet). This lets you have resolutions as high as 8K @ 120 Hz with DSC 1.2 and forward error correction, and 32 audio channels. The cable comes with gold-plated connectors and 26 AWG OD. It is tested to be fully bidirectional (you can install it either way for the same functionality). The company didn't reveal pricing.

That 3m part should probably be in the headline :)
Length has become a pretty significant aspect of these high-speed cables.

But where are the 8K 120 Hz monitors?

This should cost not more than 15-20$. I have a 16K DP2.1 (only 1 metre though) full max speed for 25-30$.

Note that it's limited to 13.5 Gbps, hence the longer length compared to 20 Gbps cables.

Have you tested that it delivers on that claim?

Yes, it is very good.

That's not answering the question.

And yeah, currently max length you can get that supports DP80 is 2 meters. 1 meter is only enough if you have PC on your desk and are not using monitor arm. Anything longer, like this Club3D cable, will result in lower bandwidth. Still, there are only handful of DP 2.1 monitors that support this and in consumer space only 50-series supports full bandwidth for DP 2.1.
