Hello,

can anyone tell me if MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAZ will work with AMD Ryzen 5 3400G?

Building a budget computor for a young gaming girl.

If you have any other input on the build i would be happy to hear them but the main thing is to keep it pretty budged friendly. And i was thinking with this setup you can allways buy a graphics card later on.

No, the manual for it states "Supports 1st, 2nd and 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen™/ Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics and 2nd Gen AMD Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Graphics/ Athlon™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics Desktop Processors for Socket AM4".

Yea i saw that and got confused. Is this not a 3rd gen AMD Ryzen CPU? Then it should support it? I posted this by mistake in the motherboard forum as well. And a guy there says it should support that CPU..
