Conflicting advice on SSD for new Ally X

So I recently purchased the ally x and got the
WD Black Sn850x for the gen 4 speeds and storage.

Someone said the power efficiency isn’t worth the space and heat it would put off and go with the gen3 2TB Sk Hynix Gold P31.

I’ve read people say it can impact battery life, some say not to worry. But then others say with the form factor of a handheld it will cause more heat and a big difference in battery. Unsure if I should cancel my order and go with a more efficient SSD, or am I getting fear mongered over here.

I’ve swapped ssds numerous times, but admittedly am not savvy on all the intricises of things. I usually see big number and buy.

Yes, choose an appropriate one, you're not in a hurry that much.

if you are unsure... have a look at where the ssd is placed does it have some sort of heat dissipation?
top end gen 3 nvme can also run hot but not as hot as gen4 for sure...
