Still can't do it , i bought a Wii/PS3 VGA cable , claims to be working for LCD monitors , now i have an old Samsung Syncmaster940BF , why the heck doesn not work on MY monitor , WHAT is the matter of this , HOW can a wii have "exceeding" resolution than this monitro , how can it have more than 80khz 1280x1024 @ 60hz , and this monitor supoorts 75hz refresh rate maximum.
You know what , im going to throw , all this junk , out of the window , and sell every nintendo game i have , im just not going to buy a VGA converter crap box because it's crap quality and also very expensive. --- i want a cheap workaround and i want FORCEFULLY.
I heard that this is just that happens for pretty much any monitor that VGA cable will not work for.
I have set Wii to progressive mode and to Standard 4:3 , why why why it doesn't work like here:

EDIT:
OMG!
Ofcourse a TV card LCD monitor isnt the same , with a TV card you DON'T EVEN need this cable , you can use a component cable directy without any converters , but for demonstrational purposes that's still valid since VGA isn't TVcard-bound , so it was nontheless okay , but older LCDs , that's what the cable should be made for i mena this is completely out of logic.
