first off, I wanna say I'm sorry if this isn't the place to be asking this or if this has already been answered, I'm not much of a forum person.
I've recently decided to try squeezing a bit more performance out of my Dell Inspiron 3501 i51035G1 laptop, I downloaded ThrottleStop and after messing with a few settings and a computer restart I got it to the point that every time I tried launching the program my computer would instantly blue screen. I deleted and reinstalled the program and before undervolting I noticed my EDP OTHER on ring is permanently stuck flashing red every second or so, sometimes even staying red for a few seconds (this is at mostly idle, all I have on is Google but I have a few ThrottleStop settings tweaked), the core and gpu EDP OTHER also have turned yellow while in the background but while watching the limits window for 5 minutes I didn't see them turn red once.
I haven't stress-tested or benchmarked my laptop in a long while or even played a demanding title. Before CS2 I played csgo with most settings tweaked and I was happy to reach 40 fps dipping to 20 fps. sometimes I would get noticeable framedrops where I would be stuck on the same frame for at least a few frames, mostly when peeking corners and such. most recently I've played Deep Rock Galactic where with the graphics settings tweaked so I can't count the pixels I can reach around 30ish fps.
I'll add that I haven't tested that the thermals are the main bottleneck of my laptop, but it is a laptop so I've always just assumed that thermal throttling was likely the biggest limiting factor. The fan in my laptop has started acting up a bit, sometimes making weird noises and my temps are pretty outlandish at times, right now while writing this I only have google open with a few tabs and according to coretemp my cpu is at around 60-65c. my laptop is propped up a bit to allow for more airflow and I'm in a pretty cool room right now.
I'm sure the screenshots I've provided are likely insufficient, but I'm open to adding anything else that is required.
