Cooler Master, a global leader in PC components and tech lifestyle solutions, today announced the launch of the MasterFrame Series, an innovative line of PC cases that redefines customization, performance, and artistry in PC design. This adaptable series introduces a bold reimagining of what a PC case can be—blending premium aesthetics with unparalleled functionality.

With its dynamic exo-structure and artist-inspired interchangeable panels, the MasterFrame Series offers a platform for limitless creativity. Whether building high-performance setups, creating content, or showcasing personal style, the MasterFrame empowers users to design PCs as unique as they are.

"At Cooler Master, we've always believed that technology should inspire creativity," said Jimmy Sha, CEO of Cooler Master. "The MasterFrame Series is more than just a product—it's a reflection of our passion for innovation and craftsmanship. This launch invites users to build something extraordinary while embracing our 'Make It Yours' philosophy."

The MasterFrame Series is available in two material options—aluminium (MasterFrame 400, 600, 800) and steel (MasterFrame 300, 500). With pricing starting at $199.99, each design brings together luxury, performance, and customization in a way that transforms a PC case into a true statement piece.

Key Features of the MasterFrame Series
  • Revolutionary Design: The exo-structure introduces a next-generation approach to PC architecture, offering unprecedented accessibility and adaptability.
  • Dynamic Adaptability: Designed to meet evolving needs, it supports modular configurations and a wide range of hardware platforms, from compact systems to full-tower rigs.
  • Customization Without Limits: Interchangeable panels create endless possibilities, blending function with personal expression.

While concept itself is interesting that IO panel is sorely lacking. Finally something new from CM who seem have fallen behind the curve in last couple of years with likes of ThermalTake having overtaken them in case design.

Edit: Microsite/page linked below is still not available for public viewing.

Sadly its missing quite a few things(Hot plug drive bay, connectivity on front IO and HDD bays(will give them a pass unless product pages are up)) that made 690II made awesome case for the price.

Was just typing a response about how strangely often this happens. Baffling.

Nice try
Maybe next time.

Agreed, seems like a lot. Comparison point: I paid 100-odd USD for my Sonata SOLO in, like, 2008. It was worth every penny and then some, to the point that I almost paid $200 for a NIB SOLO on eBay. A hundred 2008 dollars are worth $150 in 2024, so these had better be pretty flippin' good to justify the cost.

Not bad concept.

Make a 33x23x30 matx version with soundproofed walls and I'm game, even if it costs $300.

Nothing on social media either... I'm seriously confused. Yet the YouTube video went up two days ago...

that "master frame" logo in front is a big shame frankly but great to see more nice designs out there !

Really tired of the whole "gamerz" approach, gaming is mainstream now, some people don't want the whole mega RGB, dragon scales-inspired cases.

Things like master frame, Asus AP201, Corsair 4000D etc I like them, way more sober

Poor attempt.

This case doesn't fix a single of the teething, long lasting issues:

1. No board rotation;
2. No GPU compartment;
3. No intelligent PC space temperature control;
4. No silence.

Now that's very neat idea. Shame CM website has no info for it at this time, but it seems neatly planned. Judging from this short animation, 8 slots, it seems you can easily do normal ATX, 90 degree or reverse ATX, even EEB support with all the rails inside. Something sleeker than Cosmos700 is long overdue. In a way next installment of Cosmos (800 or 900) is also long overdue. I was thinking about getting C700, but it's very old case lacking functionality in 2024/25.

I see, they're bringing the modular concept of the MasterFrame chassis to a standard PC case form factor. I dig this a lot. If the build quality is the same (reinforced thick steel that could probably stop a bullet), these are gonna be some of the best cases of all time

The idea: Great! I'm specially interested in the SFF version.
The price: Ugh, those cases better be entirely made of aluminum, and that price better include several of these panels in the box.

So finally that page is up and doesnt reveal much about the product itself and is quite vague(though close look of IO panel is posted and its quite woefully lackluster with video and sign up form showing 2x Type C ports while landing page is showing picture of 1x A and 1x C port). On the other hand CM has posted full details of new CPU cooler even before posting video preview and sending out a PR.

As a Qube 500 owner, i like that modularity design will go for high budget aluminium case.

What's concerne me is the mesh panel. I don't like the look. And it was already an issue with the dust filter on the Qube.

And the video fail to show us the real potential of this series.

I hope we'll get better material soon.

isn't that standard operating procedure for most PC tech companies?
